FAQs for Electric Showers

Q) The water from my shower is cold.

A) Three things to check:
1. Check the power selection setting is on Hot.
2. Confirm there is sufficient water pressure.
3. Clean the showerhead of any dirt and debris, restart the shower on the Hot water setting.

If there is still no hot water contact the service line on: 08709 000430.

Q) The power indicator on my shower is not illuminated.

A) If the power setting is on Cold the indicator will not light up, therefore turn control to the hot setting.

If the power indicator is still not illuminated contact the service line on: 08709 000430.

Q) The water from my shower is too Hot.

A) Three possible reasons:
1. Lower the temperature on the heat dial.
2. Clean the showerhead of any dirt and debris, restart the shower on the Hot water setting.
3. Confirm that the mains water stop valve is fully open.

If there is still no hot water contact the service line on: 08709 000430.

Q) The water flow from the shower is poor?

A) Confirm there is no blockage in the shower hose and clean the showerhead of any dirt and debris.

Reduce the temperature on the temperature dial, if the flow is still poor, contact the service line on: 08709 000430.

Q) When I turn the shower off water still drips from the showerhead.

A) When the shower is turned off the showerhead and hose will have water within them, if the shower still continues to drip after a few minutes contact the service line on: 08709 000430.

Q) Water is dripping from the bottom of the shower unit.

A) Three possible reasons:
1. The safety pressure relief device may have operated. Remove the showerhead and check that the water flows freely through the hose thus cleaning out the system. Once this has been carried out you will need to fit a new pressure relief device. Contact the service line on 08709 000430.
2. Check mains water connections.
3. Clean the showerhead of any dirt and debris, and if necessary replace the showerhead and hose. Once this has been carried out you will need to fit a new pressure relief device. Contact the service line on 08709 000430.
